How we work
Each of our drivers receives thorough induction, training and monitoring through our national driver training team, utilising a state of the art driving simulator from the manufacturers of the Boeing 747.
The simulator provides a level of training that just cannot be achieved by taking a driver out on the open road. Never before have driver trainers been able to test their trainees on icy roads, fog, low bridges and malfunctioning traffic lights – to name but a few – in such a controlled and safe environment.
As part of our on-going pledge to attract and nurture new talent in the driving sector, Transline Group has partnered with several key clients to form a ‘New Pass Training Academy’. This academy will encourage a new generation of drivers into the industry, helping to alleviate the current skills gap, as well as ensuring we attract the best quality drivers.
Our innovative approach to this sector translates into low accident rates among our fleet, which operates on a 24 hours a day basis, to ensure that clients receive an efficient and effective service.
“Transline's understanding of our business needs and culture of the organisation enables them to provide us with high calibre applicants.”
David MacKay, Distribution Centre Manager - Wincanton
