Job Title:  Apprenticeship Assessor
Location:  Office based in Newark, coverage of Burton, Swadlincote, Northampton and Enfield
Hours:  Full time Monday – Friday with flexibility to suit business needs.
Salary:  £22,000 – £25,000, company lap top and phone and access to pool cars.

Our client is a national training provider with Grade 1 Achievement Success, supporting businesses with practical skills, training and advice to improve processes and skills with specialist knowledge in Food Manufacturing & Lean, Logistics & Supply Chain, Rail, Business & Professional Management, Retail and Service sector for 22 years.
They are looking for Assessors to work on Business Improvement Techniques apprenticeships up to Level 2 & 3 within the work place, mainly in the logistics sector. Working knowledge of the following qualifications would also be an advantage:

  • Warehousing & Storage Level 2 & 3
  • Logistic Operations Level 2 & 3
  • Business Improvement Techniques Level 2 & 3
  • FLT Training

Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
  • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships
  • Experience of delivering Functional Skills to level 2
  • Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
  • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle
  • Logistics/warehousing background

The Role:

  • Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship frameworks
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills, ERR & PLTS, equality & diversity, British values, safeguarding & H&S
  • Ability to deliver other frameworks would be beneficial but not a requirement for the position
  • Travel between customer sites visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship
  • Well planned and efficient organisation of your time
  • Maintain documentation on learner’s progress using e-portfolio and compliance documentation
